Canalway Trail Dedication at Swift’s Landing Park
The New York State Canal Corporation will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony
along the Canalway Trail at Swift’s Landing Park in Palmyra, Wayne County, on
July 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m.
Canal Corporation Director Carmella R. Mantello will join State and local
officials and trail advocates to celebrate the official opening of a new
six-mile segment of Canalway Trail that stretches from Newark to Palmyra. Photo
and television footage opportunities will be available.

DIRECTIONS:
From Route 31 just east of Palmyra, take Galloway Rd north. Proceed
approximately ½ mile and turn left on the Hogback Hill Road. Swift’s Landing
Park is less than ½ mile on the left. Proceed to the end of the parking lot to
the trailhead.
