Carmella R. Mantello, Director of the New York State Canal Corporation, will make a major announcement regarding the NYS Canal System on Friday, August 18, 2006, at 11:30 a.m. at Lock E-10 in Cranesville, Montgomery County (directions below).

From NYS Thruway Interchange #26: Take Route 5S West for 9 miles through Pattersonville. Continue to Cushing Stone Quarry on left and the entrance for Lock E-10 will be on the right.
From NYS Thruway Interchange #27: Take Route 5S East for 3 miles to Cushing Stone Quarry on right and entrance for Lock E-10 will be on the left.
