Canal Corporation to Provide Update on Lock Openings Along the NYS Canal System
Carmella R. Mantello, Director of the New York State Canal Corporation, will hold a media availability on Friday, July 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Lock E-11 in Amsterdam, Montgomery County, (directions below) to provide an update on Lock openings and answer questions regarding conditions on the New York State Canal System.

Directions to Lock E-11:
Take Interchange 27 (Amsterdam) off the New York State Thruway to Route 5 West.
Turn left into the lock park directly across from Russo’s Tavern. Park is 2
miles from Exit 27.
