CANAL REVITALIZATION PUBLIC MEETING IN ALBANY
New York State Canal Corporation holding regional meeting on
Governor’s proposed legislation
WHAT:
The Canal Corporation will be in Albany to discuss, seek feedback and answer
questions about Governor Pataki’s recently proposed Canal Revitalization Bill.
The legislation calls for creating an Erie Canal Greenway for recreational use
and separating the Canal Corporation from the Thruway Authority.

Federal, State and local officials have been invited to attend.
DIRECTIONS:
From the NYS Thruway, take exit 23 onto Route I-787 North down the hill to Broadway exit. Turn right onto Broadway.
From I-787 South, take Clinton Avenue exit. Turn left off of exit onto Broadway. The building is the first on the left. There will be free parking immediately in front of the entrance for 20 cars.
