NYS Canal Corporation to Make Major Announcement Regarding Canal System
Carmella R. Mantello, Director of the New York State Canal Corporation will make a major announcement regarding the New York State Canal System on Monday, April 24 at 10 a.m. at the Lock 3 Dry Dock in Waterford, Saratoga County (directions below).

Directions to Lock 3 Dry Dock:
Take the NYS Thruway to Exit 23 to I-787 and continue northbound to the end.
Turn right onto Route 32 (Saratoga Avenue) north over bridge into Waterford. Go
approximately two miles on Saratoga Avenue, past Waterford Rural Cemetery and
take a left at the sign for the Waterford Canal Maintenance Facility. Follow
access road into facility and under railroad bridge. Bear right at fork in the
road. Go up a hill and turn right just before the red brick building. Follow
road around dry dock to end and park adjacent to Lock 3. (The press event can
also be accessed from the Fonda Road side of Lock 3.)
