Canal Corporation to Assist in
Restoration of Historic Lock E-56
The New York State Canal Corporation will hold a press conference and photo opportunity at the historic Lock E-56 in Lyons, Wayne County, on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 3 p.m. to announce assistance in local Lock restoration efforts.
Canal Director Carmella R. Mantello and Lock E-56 Committee Director Mark DeCracker, as well as other State, local and community officials will be in attendance at the press conference.

Directions: From the Thruway (West):
Exit Thruway at Exit 42 and make a left onto Route 14. Take a left at the
traffic light in Lyons onto Route 31. As you travel west on Route 31, you will
see a Canal maintenance facility across the river on your right. Take the next
right onto Dry Dock Road (across from police station).
