NEW YORK STATE CANAL CORPORATION ANNOUNCES PORTION OF CAYUGA-SENECA CANAL REOPENED
The New York State Canal Corporation has just announced that Locks CS-2/3 (Seneca Falls) on the Cayuga-Seneca Canal have reopened to mariners.
Earlier in the day, this section of the Canal had been closed due to a fuel spill. After the Department of Environmental Conservation’s assessment and clean up, this section of the Cayuga-Seneca has been reopened.
The Canal Corporation regrets any inconvenience this closure may have caused boaters.
