Mariners are advised that the Pittsford, Pull the Plug
Regatta will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2009, from
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Regatta participants will launch
from the Pittsford Village DPW and proceed east, on the
north side of the navigation channel, through Schoen
Place, and continue on to the Cartersville Guard Gate.
Participants will then turn west to start the event and
proceed on the south side of the navigation channel to
conclude the event at the Pittsford Rowing Club, just
east of Lock E-32 in Pittsford.
Boaters are
reminded to use caution and be mindful of their wakes in
this area as there will
up
to eighty-five
rowing shells
in the water during the event. Spotter boats will be
stationed along the course. If you have any questions,
