Mariners are
advised that
the
Saratoga Rowing Association and the Schuylerville
Chamber of Commerce will hold a rowing race entitled
“The Schuylerskiff” in Schuylerville on Sunday, October
11, 2009, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The
racecourse will begin at the southern point of Schuyler
Island and the turn around is 2 ½ miles south. The race
will start on the west side of the island and finish on
the east side. The location of the event is between
Locks C-4 and C-5.
Boaters are
reminded to use caution and be mindful of their wakes in
this area throughout the duration of this event.
