Mariners are advised that the "Great Champlain-Hudson
Paddle" will begin on Monday, August 3, 2009 and run
through Monday, August 17, 2009. The paddle will be on
the Champlain Canal beginning on Monday, August 3, 2009
through Wednesday, August 5, 2009.

Boaters are reminded to use caution and be mindful of
their wakes in this area as there will 40 kayaks
participating throughout the duration of the event.

Mariners are
also advised that Red Buoy 196, between Lock C-6 in Fort
Miller and Lock C-7 in Fort Edward, has been moved off
station, 400 feet to the south, due to the Hudson River
Dredging Project.
