Mariners are advised that the "Sixth Annual Musselman
Triathlon" swimming event will be held on Saturday, July
18 and Sunday, July 19, 2009. The event will take place
at the mouth of the Seneca Lake Outlet, at the north end
of the lake, north to the Rt. 96A Bridge (S-13A).
Triathlon swimmers will be in the water from 8:30 to
10:30 AM on Saturday, July 18 and 6:30 to 9:00 AM on
Sunday, July 19. A Seneca County Sheriff patrol boat and
support kayaks will be in the vicinity of the course.
Boaters are reminded to use caution and be mindful of
their wakes in this area. There will be a total of 800
to 900 swimmers in the water, in groups of 100 to 150
swimmers each, participating during the duration of the
event.
