Mariners are advised that the NFL Alumni will hold an
"NFL Alumni Champlain Benefit Swim" on Saturday, July
18, through Monday, July 20, 2009. The event will take
place, staring at Lock C-12 in Whitehall and will end at
the Troy Town Dock, in Troy, on Monday.
One swimmer will be in the water at a time and will
be accompanied by spotter boats.
Boaters are reminded to use caution and be mindful of
their wakes in the area of the benefit swimmer.
The Canal Corporation appreciates the public’s
