MARINERS

Oswego Canal
Bridge Rehabilitation
March 31, 2008
Mariners are advised that starting on April 1, 2008 and ending on
December 31, 2008 bridge rehabilitation work will take place on the
Route 104 Bridge (Bridge O-14), over the Oswego Canal. This bridge
is located north of Lock O-8 in the City of Oswego.
Boaters should expect minor delays to navigation and are reminded
to use caution when approaching this area. Canal staff at Lock O-8
and the contractor will monitor Channel 13 for vessel traffic
control and spotter boats will be located north of the lock to
assist with navigation. Boaters approaching from the south will
receive direction as they lock through Lock O-8.

www.nyscanals.gov. Additionally, mariners may sign up for automatic e-mail and text message alerts through the new Canal TRANSalert service.
