MARINERS
Erie Canal
Lift Bridge Regatta
September 21, 2007
Mariners are advised that the Fairport Crew Club will hold a “Lift
Bridge Regatta” on Sunday, September 23rd from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The event will take place between Lock E-30 in Macedon to Lock E-32
in Pittsford. The race course will run in an easterly direction from
the Bushnells Basin Guard Gate located east of the I-490 Bridge, to
the Main St. Lift Bridge located in the Village of Fairport.
Boaters are reminded to use caution and be mindful of their wakes in
this area as there will be 150 to 200 rowing shells participating
over the duration of the event.
