NOTICE TO
MARINERS
Erie Canal
September 17, 2007
Mariners are advised that effective 7 AM on Tuesday,
September 18th, locks E-7 (Niskayuna, Schenectady County) through
E-20 (Marcy, Oneida County) on the Erie Canal will be operated on a
modified schedule for recreational vessels. The locks will open for
eastbound traffic on the hour and westbound traffic on the half
hour. This modified schedule will continue until further notice.
Boaters should be aware that fall hours of operation are now in
effect. These new hours of operation are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
