MARINERS
Erie Canal
Closure
October 28, 2006
Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal from Lock E-7 in
Niskayuna to Lock E-22 New London is closed due to high water until
further notice.
Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal from Lock E-24 in
Baldwinsville to Lock E- 27 in Lyons and Lock C/S-1 on the
Cayuga-Seneca Canal also remain closed.
Please be of aware high water, debris and high wind conditions in
Canal sections that remain open.
For updates and information, mariners are advised to monitor 1-800-4CANAL4 and
www.canals.state.ny.us.
