NOTICE TO
MARINERS
Champlain Canal
October 21, 2006
Mariners are advised of high water on the Champlain Canal due to
recent heavy rainfall. Mariners should proceed through these areas
with caution.
Although these areas remain open for navigation, high water
levels persist. Mariners should verify bridge clearances prior to
transiting these areas and pay close attention to their wakes.
For updates and information, mariners are advised to monitor 1-800-4CANAL4 and
www.canals.state.ny.us.
