MARINERS
Erie Canal
Reopening and Fall Hours of Operation
October 16, 2006
Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal from the East Avenue
Lift Bridge (E-187) in Holley, west to Tonawanda, has been reopened
to traffic.
Also, please be aware that the fall hours of operation of 7:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. are in effect from now until the entire New York
State Canal System closes on November 15, 2006.
For updates and information, mariners are advised to monitor 1-800-4CANAL4 and
www.canals.state.ny.us.
