NOTICE TO
MARINERS
Canal System
Weather Advisory
August 31, 2006
Mariners are advised that National Weather Service forecasting
places portions of the Canal System in the projected path of
Hurricane Ernesto. The remnants of this storm may impact upstate New
York over the upcoming weekend.
Mariners are advised to monitor NOAA weather radio and plan
accordingly. If future forecasts suggest any impact on navigation
along the Canal System, further advisories will be issued.
For updates and information, mariners are advised to monitor 1-800-4CANAL4 and
www.canals.state.ny.us.
