MARINERS
Champlain and Erie Canals
Openings

Mariners are advised that Lock C-12 on the Champlain Canal has
reopened. Water levels and vertical bridge clearances have returned
to normal on the Champlain Canal.
Mariners are also advised, at 7:00 AM on Saturday, July 15, 2006,
Locks E-17 through E-22 and Locks E-26 and E-27 on the Erie Canal
will reopen.
Locks E-9 through E-16, E-23 through E-25, Lock C/S-1 on the
Cayuga Seneca Canal and the entire length of the Oswego Canal still
remain closed.
For updates and information, mariners are advised to monitor 1-800-4CANAL4 and
www.canals.state.ny.us.
