NOTICE TO
MARINERS
Erie and C/S-1 Canal Limited Section Opening
July 2, 2006
Mariners are advised that Lock E-25 to Lock E-26
on the Erie Canal and C/S-1 will open at 1 p.m. today. Mariners
should be aware of high water conditions and floating debris.
Travel is not permitted east of the junction of
the Erie and Cayuga/Seneca Canal as the Erie Canal from Lock 2
in Waterford to Lock 24 in Baldwinsville still remains closed.
The Champlain and the Oswego Canals still remain
closed.

www.canals.state.ny.us.
