Mariners are advised that the Waterford Canal
Harbor will be closed to vessel traffic from Thursday, June 29th
at noon until Monday, July 3rd at noon, for the Waterford
Steamboat Meet.
The channel will be open for navigation, but
docking at the facility during this time will be prohibited. The
floating docks will be reserved for steamboats only.
Mariners wishing to travel to this event by
boat, or to dock in Waterford during this time, can dock at the
Lock E-3 upper approach wall or on the bulkhead wall at the end
of the floating docks.
Anchoring will be permitted in the Waterford
Harbor during the fireworks on Saturday, July 1st east of the
Pebble’s Island Bridge.
