Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal from Lock E-8 to Lock E-15 will re-open at 12 PM on Friday, November 11

The Erie Canal from Lock E-2 to Lock E-17 has reopened

Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal has re-opened from Lock E-17 to Lock E-22 @ 10:00 A.M
- October 27, 2005 --
Mariners are advised of high flows on the Oswego and Seneca Rivers due to recent heavy rainfall
- October 26, 2005 --
Mariners are advised that continued high water has necessitated additional closures along the Erie Canal. The Erie Canal is now closed from Lock E-2 to Lock E-19
- October 25, 2005 --
Mariners are advised that the Champlain Canal has closed from Lock C-1 to Lock C-12 due to high water resulting from recent heavy rainfall. In addition, the Erie Canal from Lock E-2 to Lock E-15 remains closed

Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal in the vicinity of Bridge E-79 in Plainsville, NY will be closed for periods of time on October 24 and October 25

Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal has closed from Lock E-2 to Lock E-13 due to high water resulting from recent heavy rainfall

Mariners are advised that heavy rain has elevated water levels along much of the Champlain Canal, and the Erie Canal between Utica and Waterford

The Waterford Flight (Lock E-2 to Lock E-6) will be closed from 7 AM to 11 AM on Wednesday, October 19 due to scheduled inspection

Mariners are advised that the Champlain Canal from Lock C-1 in Waterford to Lock C-4 in Stillwater has reopened

The Waterford Flight (Lock E-2 to Lock E-6) will be closed to vessel traffic from 7 AM to 11 AM on Thursday, September 28, for scheduled inspection

Mariners are advised that the Waterford Canal Harbor will be closed to vessel traffic from 12 PM Thursday, September 8th to 5 PM Sunday, September 11th for the Waterford Tugboat Roundup

The Waterford Flight (Lock E-2 to Lock E-6) will be closed to vessel traffic from 7 PM Tuesday, August 30, to 9 AM Wednesday, August 31, for scheduled maintenance
- August 22, 2005 --
The pool level between Lock E-28A and Lock E-28B will be reduced by approximately 1.5 feet beginning Tuesday, August 23 due to scheduled maintenance operations at Lock E-28A

Mariners are advised that Lock E-32 is temporarily closed to navigation due to equipment malfunction

Mariners are advised to proceed with caution when transiting just south of Lock C-4

Waterford Flight (Lock E-2 to Lock E-6) will be closed for
navigation

The pool level between Lock C-3 and Lock C-4 will be reduced by approximately 6 feet from Tuesday, July 26 to Friday, July 29 (please note change of date) due to an inspection of the hydroelectric facility adjacent to Lock C-3

The Waterford Flight (Lock E-2 to Lock E-6) will reopen for navigation at 7 AM on Sunday, July 17

Mariners are advised that Locks CS-2/3 on the Cayuga-Seneca
Canal will be closed until further notice due to
environmental spill response.
- June 15, 2005 --
Mariners are advised that repairs have been made to both Lock E-19 on the Erie Canal and Lock CS-2 on the Cayuga-Seneca Canal, and that normal operations have resumed at both locations.
- June 14, 2005 --
Mariners locking up (west) at Lock E-19 on the Erie Canal and Lock CS-2 on the Cayuga-Seneca Canal must secure to the port side only until further notice, due to a valve malfunction at both locations
- June 10, 2005 --
Bridge E-182 (Main Street) in Brockport will resume full operations at 7 AM on Saturday, June 11
- June 10, 2005 -- Mariners are advised of possible delays in navigation in the Fairport area from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 11 due to a marine event in this vicinity
