NOTICE TO
MARINERS
November 10, 2005
Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal has closed from Lock E-8 to
Lock E-15 due to high water.
Mariners should navigate with caution on sections of the Canal
System which remain open, and be prepared for excessive debris and
reduced bridge clearances.

to monitor 1-800-4CANAL4 and
www.canals.state.ny.us.
