NOTICE TO
MARINERS
October 25, 2005
Mariners are advised that the Erie Canal has closed from Lock E-2
to Lock E-15 due to high water resulting from recent heavy rainfall.
Mariners should navigate with caution on sections of the Canal
System which remain open, and be prepared for excessive debris and
reduced bridge clearances.

to monitor 1-800-4CANAL4 and
www.canals.state.ny.us.
