NOTICE TO
MARINERS
May 9, 2005
The Erie Canal from Lock E-24 (Baldwinsville) to
Lock E-25 (Mays Point), and the Cayuga-Seneca Canal from Lock CS-1
to the junction of the Erie Canal, will open for navigation at 7 AM
on Wednesday, May 11. At that time, all sections of the New York
State Canal System will be open.
Mariners should be mindful of debris caused by high
water and consult appropriate navigation charts when transiting the
Canal System.

to monitor 1-800-4CANAL4 and
www.canals.state.ny.us.
