TOURING THE CANALWAY TRAIL

Self-guided Inn-to-Inn touring is now available along the Erie Canalway Trail. Two brochures are available to help plan your trip. The Inn-to-Inn Touring Along the Erie Canalway Trail: Albany, Schenectady and Montgomery Counties covers the eastern end of the State. Inn-to-Inn Touring Along the Erie Canalway Trail: Lockport to Palmyra covers the western part of the State.

For the adventure of a lifetime, try cycling across the entire State from Albany to Buffalo in Cycling the Erie Canal, a fully supported annual tour organized by Parks and Trails New York. For more information, please refer to www.ptny.org/canaltour.

A new guide book called Cycling the Erie Canal: A Guide to 400 miles of Adventure and History Along the Erie Canalway Trail, is now available from Parks and Trails New York.
