TENDER CAPTAIN (SYRACUSE
DIVISION)
Duties:
The Syracuse
Division has a vacancy at the Syracuse
Floating Plant. Duties The successful
candidate would operate and pilot a tender
tug; tow non-self propelled derrick boats,
dredges and scows to location of operation;
tow/move pontoons and other floating
equipment; and carry equipment and personnel
to dredges. The Tender Captain may also be
required to perform similar duties as the
operator of a self propelled scow and is
responsible for upkeep and maintenance of
the vessel assigned to them. Appointee may
be required to work four-10 hours day during
navigation season.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have a valid US Coast
Guard 50 Ton Master License with a Master of
Towing License Endorsement and a valid
License to operate a motor vehicle in New
York State.
Salary ranges from $14.66 to $21.13
per hour. Additional
compensation provided for travel and meal
allowances.
